Urban Planning & Design is a small and friendly company that offers complete architectural design solutions for all domestic projects and small commercial buildings. An established company, our principal designers profile is shown below:
Rob Bradshaw
MSc, C.Build E FCABE, CMgr MCMI, BSc Hon’s
Having graduated in 1999 with a BSc Hon’s in Building Technology and Legislation at Manchester University, Rob has also gone on to complete a BSc Hon’s Advanced Building Control Engineering degree and also, a Master’s degree. He has worked within the Building Control profession for almost 30-years, gaining a wealth of experience within the construction industry and a thorough working knowledge of both Planning and Building Control legislation.
He is a trained AutoCAD (computer aided design) software user and is a Fellow member of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers. As part of the requirements of that organisation, he attends numerous courses, seminars, and workshops on all things related to the construction industry. This way, he keeps right at the forefront of all new materials, technologies and any changes to Planning and Building Control legislation.
Rob has been preparing detailed Planning and Building Control submissions for his clients for over 20 years and has significant experience in all elements of his client’s needs including the best use of light, space and budget. He offers his clients a complete Planning and Building Control service, including the preparation of structural calculations where required for submissions. His depth and range of construction experience gives him a wealth of knowledge and information for his clients when dealing with the technical construction details of the build and is always on hand if his client’s builders require any help throughout the construction stage.
